InterWetten Review NZ (2026)
InterWetten is an established online gambling site that has been in the industry since 1990, boasting 35+ years of experience as an online pioneer. While the site interface feels a little old-fashioned, perhaps nostalgic for some players, the site offers a solid product for both sports and casino players.

InterWetten Overview - Is It Legit or a Scam?
| Products | Sportsbook, Casino, Live Casino, Virtual Sports |
|---|---|
| License | MGA/B2C/110/2004 |
| Founded | 1990 |
In short, InterWetten is a legit gambling site and has a valid licence (MGA/B2C/110/2004) issued by a reputable regulator, the Malta Gaming Authority. Having been in the online gambling scene since 1990, it's fair to say that this brand is on par with the world's biggest operators, such as bet365 and William Hill.
As you can tell from the name and site footers, this brand holds a particularly strong presence in German-speaking countries.
InterWetten Offerings - Bonus, Casino & Sportsbook
InterWetten offers an impressive array of bonuses for both casino and sports players. Even just after signing up, we saw over 10 promotions in the Bonus Promotions tab.
There is a welcome offer for new players, which we found very reasonable, with only a 5x wagering requirement on the bonus amount. This is pretty impressive, considering that even top casinos in NZ sometimes require over 30x turnover.

InterWetten Casino Library
With over 6,874 games in total and advanced game search filters, InterWetten's gaming library is nothing to complain about. It's outstanding in terms of both quality and quantity.
Such a massive game collection might come across as overwhelming to some players, but the filter function can help you find a game that suits your taste. What we like in particular is the volatility parameter, since personal preference for this varies greatly.
Needless to say, this gaming portfolio covers all sorts of games, including slots, table games, and crash games.

InterWetten Sports Betting
InterWetten also offers great coverage of sports betting, adding up to over 35 sports. Everything that sports bettors want is available, including bet builders, boosted odds, and preset combi-betting slips.
In some sections of their sportsbook, you can find betting markets by a selection filter (by time or by odds), an odds filter (ex., under 2.00), and a time filter (when the match starts).
As I mentioned earlier, the interface gives an old impression, but the function is there.
InterWetten Payment Methods
We have a bit of mixed feelings about InterWetten's payment collection. While the coverage is good, some payment channels don't seem optimised for NZ dollars, i.e. showing EUR in transactions.
The minimum deposit is $10, and the minimum withdrawal is $30 across all methods. Deposits are instant as with other casinos, while withdrawal times vary by method: 24 hours for cards and e-wallets.
For clarification, we have listed only NZD payment methods in the table below.

InterWetten offers several channels for players to reach out for help. For anything that needs your attention, you will receive notifications in your inbox, which is great to keep yourself posted.
You can contact them by on-site message form, phone, email, or even by post. However, the typical live chat doesn't seem available at the time of writing, which we find a little questionable.
