Livescore Bet UK Review (2024)

Recently launched in the UK and Ireland, LiveScore Bet is the latest kid on the block and the perfect choice for British players seeking the thrill of a new wagering experience. The gambling platform has a good collection of exclusive and original slots, table games, and live casino tiles in its casino lobby. In the sports betting section, we found an impressive number of markets and sports, with the added perk of live streaming on the site.

In September 2019, LiveScore Group (consisting of LiveScore Bet and the sister site Virgin Bet) separated from the Gamesys Group of companies. LiveScore was previously acquired in 2017 as a means of moving into the sports media industry, while Virgin Bet was launched in 2019 following a partnership with Virgin to enter into the sports betting market.

We thoroughly checked the site’s legitimacy and found one general Gibraltar Gambling Commissioners licence, and another from the UK Gambling Commission, which is one of the highest authorities in iGaming regulation worldwide.

Our comprehensive review details our firsthand experience playing at LiveScore Bet, so UK players can make an informed decision.

Welcome Bonus Offer

We are always on the lookout for the best bonus casinos in the UK, which is why we thoroughly evaluate the bonuses and welcome offers at our chosen casinos. While LiveScore Bet doesn’t offer the highest bonuses by our standards, the welcome offer is decent, and there are tons of regular promotions. Let’s take a look at what new casino and sportsbook bettors get at LiveScore Bet:

Casino Bonus

When we signed up at LiveScore Bet UK, we didn't see any exclusive welcome bonuses for casino games. The absence of a casino sign-up offer was highly disappointing, but we found other bonuses in this category for regular players. We'll get to that after exploring the welcome sports bonus, which is the only signup offer on LiveScore Bet.

Sports Bonus

Like the casino welcome bonus, the qualifying condition for the sports bonus is also to bet at least £10 on any sport to get £30 in free bets. We consider the T&Cs for this bonus straightforward. First, UK bettors need to claim the sports bonus within 14 days of signing up, or it becomes unavailable. After placing the qualifying bet, a pop-up box containing the bonus appears on the bettor's account. The bettor needs to claim it in 24 hours or it expires.

The qualifying bet has to be a single £10 bet on minimum odds of 1.5 and needs to settle within the 14-day claiming window. Bettors can place a bet on any sport and market, excluding virtual sports. After qualifying, the sports bonus comes as two single £10 bets and two £5 bet builder bets that must be used within seven days, or they expire.

The most interesting thing about the sports bonus was that there was no wagering requirement for this bonus. Bettors can claim any winnings they make from wagering with the bonus immediately. There's no need to wager the winning before claiming.

Promotions

One thing that impressed us the most during our LiveScore Bet review was the promotion page's richness and structure. While some sportsbooks that we reviewed in the past simply had a one-shoe-fits-all approach to bonuses, LiveScore Bet has separate bonuses for most sports and casino categories on the website. Let’s quickly explore some of the regular ones.

Weekly Free Bets

We found lots of free bet offers for various markets on the LiveScore Bet sportsbook section, including football and horse racing. Players receive £5 free bets when they opt-in for the offer and bet at least £20 between Monday and Sunday. Check the promotions page for a more comprehensive T&C for the bonus.

Casino Free Spins

casino-free-spins

LiveScore Bet regularly offers free spins on selected slot games on the site. These spins are usually valid for three days. Currently, players can bet a minimum of £5 on the Oodles of Noodles slot and get five free spins on the same slot. This offer is usually active from Friday to Sunday every other weekend. Note that the qualifying slot may be changed from time to time.

Live Casino Bonus

Some selected LiveScore Bet exclusive live casino titles qualify for a 10% cashback up to £50 when players lose their wagers playing them. We also found a regular Weekly Game Show Treat that offers players up to £5 on selected game shows when they play a minimum of 20 rounds. The exclusive games and game shows that are eligible for these offers change regularly, so always check the promotions page to confirm.

Best Odds Guaranteed

best-odds-guaranteed

When players place a win or two-way bet on a UK horse race at LiveScore Bet, they qualify for a best odds bonus. This bonus works by balancing fluctuating odds. Therefore, if a bettor wagers a price on a horse before a race and the starting price ends up higher than the bettor's price, LiveScore Bet will pay out the bet at the starting price. The maximum SP increase value cap for this bonus is £50,000.

Money Back Bonus

money-back-bonus

At LiveScore Bet, British bettors are eligible for a money-back bonus in the form of a free bet bonus on selected matches. Only losing bets are eligible for this bonus, and it runs from Thursday to Saturday every week. To qualify, bettors must place an in-play or pre-match bet of at least £10 on the match.

If the match loses, the bettor will receive an equivalent of the qualifying bet in free bets that can be used on any sports at LiveScore Bet. While we found no wagering requirement for the bonus, it has a 7-day validity period.

Banking

This aspect of LiveScore Bet disappointed us during our review. For an operator that offers such a comprehensive sportsbook, we expected to see more payment options. Sadly, the cashier section here is seriously lacking.

Deposits

deposits

LiveScore Bet UK only offers card (Visa & MasterCard) payment options and PayPal to players who wish to deposit on the platform. Using the card payment option, we could deposit a minimum of £5. PayPal’s minimum deposit on the casino starts at £30.

On the bright side, these payment systems are widely accepted and secure for making online transactions, and they’re quite fast in processing payments. When we deposited using the card option, we got the money in our wallet within 10 minutes.

Withdrawals

Similar to deposits, there are only two options for withdrawals at LiveScore Bet. This doesn’t mean players will experience delayed payments on the gambling site. On the contrary, withdrawals take a couple of hours on average. However, players are required to verify their account before initiating their first withdrawal. This process may take up to 24 hours to complete, which may cause some minor delays.

LiveScore Bet’s Casino Games

casino-games

LiveScore Bet’s casino lobby isn’t its biggest feature. However, what the casino lacks in game numbers, it makes up for in the variety of available games. While there are only about 400+ titles, we found a game for almost all the categories we checked.

Fortunately, LiveScore Bet is always updating its collection with new titles, so we expect the number of games to increase exponentially as time goes on.

There are slots, poker, video poker, live titles, Slingo, instant games, table games, and free-to-play games. The best part about this casino is the collection of original and exclusive titles available both in the slots and the table game lobby.

These games are sorted by provider and other categories. In the provider list, we found renowned names like Pragmatic Play, Evolution, NetEnt, and Hacksaw, which assured us of quality gameplay. We’ll show what players can expect in each category below.

  • Slots

    slots

Unlike most British casinos we’ve played at, LiveScore’s slot collection doesn't make up the majority of its casino lobby. We loved that the slot page was properly sorted into categories such as Empire and Legends, which made it easier for us to find titles to play.

In addition to original titles like Double Bubble Jackpot Splash, we also found a couple of daily free games open to players who've deposited in their LiveScore Bet account. We tried out the Secret of the Phoenix free game and enjoyed playing it.

    slots-2

For real money gambling, we went for a long-standing favourite from Pragmatic Play, Gates of Olympus. With a 94.00% RTP, this 6x6 high volatility slot is packed with multipliers. It's perfect for high rollers.

  • Table Games

With a total of 40 table games including poker, Keno, and Craps, LiveScore Bet has a category to cater to the tastes of every table game lover. We found some exclusive titles like 25c Roulette in the table game section.

    able-games-livescore

Some of the most interesting games we played here are Immortal Romance Roulette and Phoenix Blackjack.

  • Live Casino

    live-casono-uk

Our criteria for deciding the top live casinos in the UK include checking the quality of providers in the live game lobby. In this aspect, we're glad to report that LiveScore Bet didn't fail the test. Most of the games here are from Evolution, a developer trusted by millions of casino lovers for top-notch live games.

Other notable mentions include Pragmatic Play Live and A-Z. For an unparalleled gambling experience, we suggest trying out Lightning Storm, LiveScore Bet Roulette, Baccarat Lobby, Card Match Up, and 2 Hand Casino Hold Em.

  • Sports Betting

    sports-betting-uk

LiveScore Bet's sportsbook is one of the best parts of the wagering site. We compared this bookmaker to other sports betting sites in the UK, and it performed favourably. LiveScore Bet offers enhanced odds on multiple markets for better outcomes. Although we consider the betting margin here fair when compared to popular UK sportsbooks, some odds are on the high side. It's up to bettors to calculate properly before wagering on a market, but expect average margins of 6.2%.

We checked out the Bet Builder (BB) on the site and we're happy to report that it's excellent. LiveScore Bet does the gathering and bettors just need to go through the list of popular matches and add their preferred BB to their betting slip.

British bettors will appreciate the generous bonuses available on the sportsbook. Regular punters also get weekly free bets and cashbacks, or opt into the LiveScore Bet SQUAD to get up to €50 in cash when those predicted players score goals in selected matches.

As a top bookmaker, LiveScore Bet offers various features like in-play, live streaming, and ACCA bets. Sports covered here include horse racing, football, rugby, table tennis, basketball, Curragh, chess, Aussie Rules, American Football, boxing, cricket, bowling, cycling, and more.

Mobile App

mobile-app

LiveScore Bet has an excellent mobile app in addition to its website. The application is available on both Google Play and the Apple App Store. Players can search for “LiveScore Bet” on any of these stores, or simply scroll to the bottom of the LiveScore website to find the download button for the mobile app.

We downloaded the Android version, which has outstanding ratings on Google Play Store, and had a satisfactory wagering experience. We found the app mobile-friendly and intuitive with the same design and layout as the website.

Responsible Gaming

We were presented with responsible gambling tools right off the bat when we were signing up on LiveScore Bet, so we were ready for the comprehensive safe gaming page that we found later. The last step during the registration process was to select a deposit limit for our account. Players will also encounter this deposit limit option on the deposit page.

When we checked the Responsible Gambling page and the Bet Responsibly page, we didn't find many tools. However, on a visit to the Help & FAQs centre, we saw a comprehensive list of all the Responsible Gambling tools at LiveScore Bet, including:

  • Temporary wager restriction
  • Casino product block
  • Self-exclusion
  • Spending controls
  • Deposit limits
  • Cool-off period
  • Reality check

In addition to these tools, LiveScore Bet partners with GamCare, GamStop, Gambling Therapy, and Take Time to Think to offer further help to players who need professional assistance with gambling problems.

Customer Support

LiveScore Bet has a pretty comprehensive Help & FAQ section that provides answers for most recurring questions regarding payments, account verification, and technical issues.

There are only two ways to get human support on LiveScore Bet. British players can use live chat or email. We know from long experience that email communications usually take a minimum of 24 hours to get a response, so we went the live chat route.

customer-support

Our only gripe with using the live chat option was that it took a while to get a live chat agent. We spent lots of time trying to navigate the chatbot to get a human agent. However, when we finally got one, the responses were fast, professional, and helpful.

Despite being new in the British iGaming scene, LiveScore Bet performs incredibly by our standards, and we consider it one of the best online casinos in the UK. While the platform excels more in some categories, it's to be expected.

We loved that the casino is licenced and verified by reputable organisations like the UK Gambling Commission, eCOGRA, and the International Betting Integrity Association. This allows players to play comfortably without worrying about safety.

The platform could have scored lowly in the casino games section, but what it lacks in quantity, it makes up for in quality titles. Its sportsbook measures up with enhanced odds, a decent coverage of sports and markets, and live streaming.

We were also satisfied with the rich offers on the LiveScore Bet promotions page. The only downside to our review was the limited payment method. Thankfully, the available options are popular ones like Visa and PayPal.

To sum it up, LiveScore Bet is easy to navigate on mobile and PC. Additionally, it has an excellent mobile app for Android and iOS. We recommend LiveScore Bet to UK punters looking for an amazing experience.
