NetBet certainly presents an interesting story. Originally, it was founded in 2001 and operated under the name Cosmo Gaming, but this was then changed to NetBet in 2017. In the year that followed, NetBet was granted a UK betting licence and since then, it has been trying to compete with the top UK betting sites.
There are several payment methods allowed, but we ran into issues in our testing, and we will elaborate on this later. Below, we have collected everything you need to know about depositing funds into a NetBet account, from the methods to the specific terms for each.

If you are new to NetBet and would like to find out how to deposit, you can follow our step-by-step guide below:
The deposit process is quite simple - at least at face value. Once you have entered the app, simply tap the icon in the top right of the screen, and then head to the highlighted 'Deposit' option.
Now that you are in the cashier, the next step is choosing a deposit method, and there is a vast range of options offered which is nice. However, we ran into some problems, and this was repeated in the withdrawal process too.
In our tests, we always use debit cards but in five attempts of depositing, we were unable to complete a transaction, so we used Apple Pay. Certainly a frustrating experience on this occasion...
Once a method has been selected, the next step is to enter the payment information - of course, this changes if you use a method like Apple Pay or Google Pay - and then enter your deposit amount. Like with the majority of our tests, we chose to deposit the minimum amount, which was £10 here.
After tapping the 'Add £(deposit amount) to my account' button, you will be shown a deposit receipt confirming your payment. As is rather standard in betting transactions, you will also be given a transaction number, but we have never needed to use this.
Customers will, unfortunately, be disappointed by the minimum deposit allowed on NetBet - which is £10 across all methods. Given that most bookmakers offer £5 minimum deposit amounts these days, at least for some of the payment methods, NetBet is a bit behind the rest, especially Lottoland which accepts £1 deposits.
To claim the sign-up offer at NetBet, you must deposit and stake £10, so in that sense, the minimum deposit amount is not terrible. Furthermore, more than one method can be used to claim the offer. However, there are indeed a few welcome offers on the market with lower requirements regarding the deposit amount.
When it comes to depositing funds, most customers prefer to use debit cards, and this is the case on NetBet. However, we ran into issues when trying to deposit using this method, and this was rather frustrating, especially considering we tried to use the method on different occasions to no avail.
Payment Method | Min. Amount | Max. Amount | Transaction Fee | Processing Time |

Convenience is the number one thing that customers look for when depositing funds, and offering Apple Pay is a fantastic way to attract new business given its convenience. Once again, the minimum deposit is £10. Interestingly, the method can be used to claim the welcome bonus.

Apple Pay | £10 | £10,000 | £0 | Instant |
Apple Pay is becoming quite regular on betting sites, but seeing its opposite - Google Pay - is less common, and we are not complaining about the fact that NetBet offers the Android payment system as a method. Once again, it can be used to claim the welcome bonus, so we must give credit where it is due.

Google Pay | £10 | £10,000 | £0 | Instant |
We are seeing Trustly as an accepted payment method more frequently on betting sites, and its inclusion here is very welcomed. Sometimes, customers are made to deposit slightly more when using this method, but this is not the case with NetBet.
Payment Method | Min. Amount | Max. Amount | Transaction Fee | Processing Time |

Trustly | £10 | £10,000 | £0 | Instant |
Paysafecard has a reputation among betting customers for having low deposit amounts, and in some respects this is true when it comes to NetBet. The minimum payment using the method is £10, which is the sitewide lowest amount.

Paysafecard | £10 | £1,000 | No fee | Instant |
PayPal is probably the best-known e-wallet available for customers, and it is a market leader in the online finance industry for good reason. Therefore, seeing it offered on NetBet does not come as a shock. However, customers can not use this method to claim the welcome bonus.
