Coral is one of the best betting sites in the UK and favourable payment terms are a huge part of that. Of course, the bookmaker also has a fantastic sportsbook with great market depth, streaming and promotions, but being able to deposit and withdraw with certain methods (and with certain limits) is something that punters appreciate a lot.
Payment methods at Coral include the popular e-wallet PayPal, as well as the ever-growing Apple Pay, and the terms are favourable for most of them. Below, we have collected everything you need to know about depositing funds into a Coral account, from the methods to the specific terms for each.

If you are new to Coral and would like to find out how to deposit, you can follow our step-by-step guide below:
Provided that you already have a Coral account, the first thing you need to do is tap on the profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen. Then, in the menu that pops up, you need to tap on 'Deposit'.
In the deposit cashier, you first need to choose your preferred payment method for the deposit. In the image below are the options that Coral accepts in the app, but there are a couple more on desktop.
If you have not used the selected payment method before, you will need to enter the details. In our case, we needed to enter the card details. After this has been done, though, it does not have to be repeated for the next deposit.
Next, you will need to enter the amount for the deposit. We opted for £5 in our test, which also happens to be the minimum deposit at Coral.
After entering the amount, you need to tap on the green 'Deposit' button to complete the process. Then, you will be brought to a page confirming the transaction.
Coral allows customers, new as well as existing, to deposit just £5 into their accounts. In fact, this is the minimum deposit for all payment methods except PayPal, which has a slightly higher minimum amount of £10. Furthermore, punters only need to deposit £5 to claim the welcome offer at Coral as it is a so-called bet £5 get £20 deal. No doubt, it is one of the best welcome offers around.
Even though there are many modern solutions available today, such as Instant Banking, debit cards are still the most popular way to deposit on a betting site. This largely has to do with the welcome offers being restricted to this method. In any case, the minimum deposit amount with debit cards at Coral is £5 and £2,000 is the maximum.
Payment Method | Min. Amount | Max. Amount | Transaction Fee | Processing Time |
---|---|---|---|---|
Visa | £5 | £2,000 | No fee | Instant |
Mastercard | £5 | £2,000 | No fee | Instant |
After debit cards, Apple Pay is the most popular payment method at Coral and this is also the case at most betting sites these days. You can even claim the welcome offer with Coral with this method, which is great news, and this also means that the minimum deposit is just £5. The maximum is set at £2,000 just like the other methods.

Apple Pay | £5 | £2,000 | No fee | Instant |
Even though many still use PayPal to deposit funds into betting accounts, especially after the welcome offer has been claimed, it has called behind other methods a bit. As also showcased by Coral, it is not possible to claim the welcome offer with this method and the minimum deposit is also higher at £10, which is not ideal.

PayPal | £10 | £2,000 | No fee | Instant |
Paysafecard has always been known for low minimum deposits and this is the case at Coral too, with a minimum amount of £5. However, it is not possible to claim the welcome offer with this method. Nor is it possible to make withdrawals, but that is a con that most punters have known for a long time.

Paysafecard | £5 | £2,000 | No fee | Instant |
Only a handful of betting sites in the UK actually accept Google Pay, which is rather strange seeing as Apple Pay has grown tremendously recently. In any case, the minimum deposit amount is set at £5 and as you perhaps saw in our test earlier, the Google Pay option will only show if you are on an Android device or desktop.
