Who Owns Coral?

My Thoughts on Coral
Coral is highly rated by customers and most people will be familiar with the site due to its extensive presence in sports and the notoriety it has built since its founding in 1926. However, there are several more areas where Coral does well.
Starting with promotions, there are numerous free-to-play games where customers can earn big prizes every week across a range of sports, which is enticing for players. Not only this, but Coral boasts a fantastic sportsbook and a great sign-up offer, as well as many good payment methods.
Review of Coral's Sister Sites
Below, we outline the key features of Coral's sister sites and what makes them different from the main site, seeing as the sportsbooks are largely identical.
Ladbrokes
It is very easy to find the similarities between Ladbrokes and Coral, but that is not a negative thing. In fact, it could be argued that the similar interfaces and experiences make it easy to attract new customers who have previously used the other site.
Ladbrokes offers a similar in-app currency to Coral and several of the promotions overlap between the two sites, which only adds to the marks that Ladbrokes receives. The sign-up offer on the sister site is also very similar which certainly makes it worthwhile to explore for new customers.
Sportingbet
Sportingbet was acquired by Entain before they acquired the Coral Ladbrokes group, and there are some notable differences between the sites and Sportingbet. The latter is more known in the South American markets, whereas the former duo are UK-targeted. Additionally, the sign-up is more of a challenge than a reward, which makes it less appealing.
Bwin
As a brand, Bwin will be well known to those with a keen eye for sports, given its historical partnerships with different football clubs such as AC Milan and Real Madrid. Again, the site's target market is not the UK and for this reason, it is not a high-ranking site in our eyes.
Gamebookers
Gamebookers takes a bit from both Bwin and Sportingbet, but it, again, is not really an attractive option for new customers, at least from our perspective. Founded in the 1990s there are some nice elements, but they are overshadowed quickly by other elements.
