This review digs deeper into ZetBet, looking at key features that matter the most to a punter, including its sportsbook, customer support, payment methods and sign up requirements.

ZetBet Sportsbook

ZetBet's sportsbook is not the site's homepage but can be accessed by clicking on the "Sports" shortcut located at the top beside the "Casino," "Live Casino," "Scratch Cards," and "Promotions" tabs.

On opening the sportsbook, you find a standard set-up with the menu on the left. Football takes centre stage as several tournaments and leagues are listed under "QUICK LINKS" to the far left. Looking at the sportsbook, you find that football has the most offerings, followed by tennis, basketball, and American football in that order. Also, it is clear that ZetBet only has outright markets for most of the less popular sports among punters.

Disclaimer: the number of listings for any category on ZetBet might differ depending on whether the sport is in season. For instance, while there were just under 900 football matches listed at the time of writing, it has been reported that ZetBet lists as many as 1,500 at other times.

Betting Markets

Football still takes the lead on ZetBet as far as betting markets go. You can expect well over 350 markets for the top football matches, such as those in the English Premier League. You will find popular football bets such as:

• Half time/full-time match results

• Asian and European handicaps
• Winning margins
• Correct score etc.

Less common bets such as cards, corners, goal sequence, match combo, and penalties are also available. ZetBet has done a great job with football, so the markets you get are not so different from what you would find on established betting sites.

However, the less popular sports get minimal markets. For example, Indy, Speedway, Waterpolo, and Wintersport only had outrights. This trend is not uncommon among UK betting sites, where the most significant percentage of the punter population is enthusiastic about football and horse racing.

The other sports fall between, so they are not very badly represented. In tennis, for instance, you can expect markets such as:

ZetBet runs on the BtoBet platform that's well known for consistently delivering good odds, hence you can expect reasonable offerings from this bookie. The mathematical percentage payout also looks good at about 94%.

What's more, we calculated the average betting margins for their most popular sports offering, football. They came in at about 6.94% for four games in the English Premier League. When we investigated the exact matches in some of the top UK betting sites, we found 888Sport to have an average margin of 6.49%, while Bet365 had 5.73%.

ZetBet Promotions

ZetBet has minimal continuing customer promotions. It is also worth mentioning that most new betting sites have fewer promotions than legacy ones, so ZetBet's situation comes as no surprise.

That said, the bookie does give users a shot at up to a 77% odds boost through its "Zet Boost" promotion. It works for Accas featuring at least four-fold combinations. 4-fold accumulators get a 4% boost, while 15 or more selections enjoy a 77% boost.

The multi-bet feature could use some improvements to make it more user friendly and intuitive. Still, it gets the job done.

ZetBet also lacks a rewards program for UK customers. They do have one, but it is not available for users from the UK.

Cash-out

ZetBet supports cashing out your winnings before the match ends if your favourite team is taking an early lead. The site does not try to pass this as a promotion like some betting sites do.

However, you must keep in mind that the Cash Out Function attracts a small margin, which means your winnings will be less than they would if you had let your stake stick to the end of the match or race.

Live Streaming and In-Play Betting

Unfortunately, ZetBet does not have Live Streaming Services, even though it supports live betting. It is commendable that the site offers in-play betting options for plenty of sports compared to most new betting sites. However, the range of markets for individual games is still limited.

The support team gets back via the email you provide. ZetBet says they are available 7 days a week, which means that you may get a response any day of the week. However, support is not available 24/7 but instead works between 8:00 and 00:00 CET.

An FAQ section also takes care of most of the common questions that ZetBet customers have, including account verification, privacy concerns, depositing, cashing out, bonuses, and much more.

Right below the FAQs link is one for the "help" section. It pops up much like the FAQ window but keeps things neater by focusing on a particular topic at a time.

ZetBet's lack of the Live Chat function that has become the industry standard may disappoint punters who wish for a quick response. Their lack of 24/7 support is less competitive, although they have tried to align their availability with the periods when most people are up.

ZetBet also lacks social media accounts. It would have been great to have an online presence where users could meet other punters with the same betting experience. Again, being a new betting site, it may be challenging for ZetBet to match the standards of established bookies.
