While Betway is a legitimate betting site that holds gambling licenses in many regulated markets worldwide, it is no longer available to users in India due to the company's decision to cease operations in response to tax changes, not because of any legal issues with the site itself.

This decision was not due to the company's voluntary withdrawal in response to the Indian government implementing a new 28% tax on turnover for offshore gambling companies.
